Dr. R. Mahalakshmi, M.B.B.S., M.D., (O&G) finished her under graduation from Madurai Medical College in 2002. She got best outgoing student award in the field of Obstretics and gynecology. Then she has completed her Post Graduate from MMC in IOG in 2006. Again she got Best Outgoing student award for her Post Graduation course.

She started her career as a consultant in St. Anne’s Hospital Kumbakonam from 2006 to 2007. Then switched over to Sacred Heart Hospital as a Chief consultant from 2007 to 2016. Meanwhile started a private Practice clinic, in the name of “Meenakshi Maternity & women care Centre” at Naal Road Kumbakonam in the year 2009.

She has vast experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology with a knack to pick the slightest of clues for diagnosis. She is trained in all obstetric and gynecological surgeries. She has been taking care of women for past 10 years with compassion, dedication and intellect.
